William and Josephine Sewell
were born in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England in 1930 and 1931 respectively. They met at a football match - Josie was playing and Bill watched her form from the sidelines. Bill, never one to be shy, approached the sporting beauty after the game and so a great relationship began.
Bill and Josie danced for their entire relationship and would be dancing still were it not for the weakness of the human condition.
This site is dedicated to their love and their flowing ability to glide over any dance floor as one.
Josephine Sewell passed away, after a battle with cancer, on March 4th, 2017. William Sewell passed away on December 11th, 2018 after suffering complications from his advanced dementia.
They were dancing just a few months before Josie left us.
